Children living on the street face the constant prospect of physical, verbal and sexual abuse from peers and adults
Sniffing glue and petrol is a common way to dull hunger pains and blot out the violence they face on a daily basis.
The problems associated with street children extend beyond the plight of the children themselves. The entire society is impoverished by the lost potential of homeless children and youth. In the long term, street children end up unskilled and jobless, often resorting to crime.
Summary
This project has potential and impact full in main streaming of orphans and street children. Their basic needs are met and they will get new life through gaining knowledge, vocational skills and life skills. They will get love and affection as if their parents provide. Their confidence level will increase and become good asset to the community. They are developed physically, psychologically, made as good as productive citizens.
